​These might include certain medical conditions, allergies, or skin sensitivities that could be aggravated by the procedure. It's crucial to disclose your full medical history to your technician to ensure your safety and the best possible outcome. Conditions such as uncontrolled diabetes, active skin infections, or the use of certain medications might require special precautions or might even render you ineligible for the service.   • Must be over the age of 18

  • Botox within treatment area 3 weeks before appointment

  • Accutane usage within the last 12 months

  • Active acne/ eczema / psoriasis / cold sore in treatment area

  • Freshly spray tanned / sun burnt skin

  • Currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation

  • Use of blood thinners

  • have just undergone surgery

  • have glaucoma

  • have hypertrophic scars, keloids, moles, and beauty marks

  • are wearing contact lenses (take them out before procedure begins)

  • have allergies to pigments and/or to anesthetics

  • have eyelash extensions

  • are doing hormone therapy, pregnant or nursing

  • have pacemakers

  • Fordyce spots or granules. These are small yellowish or whiteish spots. Although this is not technically a contraindication, the pigment might not take as well to the spots. However; they are completely harmless.

  • If a client has a history of cold sores, it is recommended they take Valtrex before the procedure. (3 days prior and 2 days after. 500 mg x 2 daily).
